We start one block from the east side of the U.S. Capitol, where the building's dome first comes into full view. From here, we walk the Capitol grounds, stopping by the Supreme Court and the Library of Congress, tying together how these three landmarks work as a set.

Then we go inside the Capitol. Tickets are already sorted, so there's no reservation scramble and no wondering if you'll get in. Inside, we hand the group off to a Capitol docent, who leads you through the Rotunda, Statuary Hall, and the Crypt. Your guide, a DC-based historian, rejoins for context along the way, connecting what happened in these rooms to why Washington still works the way it does today.
